This project was inspired by an article written by Rachel Chang. I took the online article and transformed it into a full editorial piece. I wanted to give the effect of a magazine but one of such luxe, suited for the Queen of Soul.
I took much inspiration from the 60s when Franklin was in her prime, such as the use of the orange and pink combination and the Helvetica font, at a time when you would find it in every design.
This was the first project I had created where I felt like I found my style and my niche. A way in which I could be recognised for my designs.
