An Apparition of Love is a poetry book designed and written by myself. It explores the five stages of grief through the eyes of a breakup. The reader is taken through a journey of heartbreak, love, and loss and experiences catharsis through a series of 31 poems.
I wrote this book as part of my final year project for university. I wanted to do something that no one else would be doing and try something slightly different and risky. I wrote the poems over a span of five months and planned and designed the book in seven to eight months.
It came to around 70 pages and was a difficult task, but I am very proud of the final outcome and cherish this book.
